On Thursday, Oct. 4th the City of Williams Lake and the Canada Asia Economic and Culture Association signed a three-year memorandum of understanding at City Hall. The city has been working to establish a relationship with the association that shares similar values and interests as Williams Lake; for the past year.

 

The 3-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is to discuss and promote the development of new and exciting opportunities in education, film production, cultural, tourism and many other business investment prospects; in and around the City of Williams Lake.

 

The associations focus will be on tourism, film production, opportunities for international students at (TRU) Thompson Rivers University and within School District 27.
