Parkside Art Gallery presents the works of  The Cariboo Artist’s Guild called ‘Cast of Shadows’ it will run until September 7th    You can drop in Tuesday to Friday from 10 – 4  on Saturday 10 – 3 at the corner of 4th and Cedar.

 

Cariboo Regional District Library Presents:  Saturday Songs and Stories, a story-time for families with children under 5, but older siblings are welcome.  You can join them in the 100 Mile house library program room, Saturdays from 10 to 11 am.  Bring your library card.

 

Every Saturday throughout July and August, Cariboo residents of all ages are invited to come out and enjoy Music at the Lakes as artists play their tunes.  You can join them from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.  This event is at the Interlakes Service Centre at 7592 Hwy 24 in Lone Butte for more info call 250.593.4869.

 

The 20th Annual Garlic Festival is coming up on August 24th and 25th at the Garlic Festival Grounds on Hwy 97 in Lac La Hache.  Admission is $5 per person – Children 12 & under are Free.  There will be 92 vendors, lots of shopping, great food and awesome entertainment.  You Can check out their website at www.garlicfestival.ca – They ask that you please leave your pets at home.

 

August 30th – The Clinton Royal Canadian Legion 194 presents their Christmas Dinner in August.  A Turkey Dinner with all the fixings will be served  at 6pm.  Members $10 and Non Members $12.  Children under 10 years of age $6 – Everyone is welcome.

 

100 Mile House Community Band commences its 2019/2020 season at Christ the King Lutheran Church.  New members are welcome.  Rehearsals every Tuesday night at 7pm, starting on September 3rd.  For more information you can call Eric at 778.485.5560.

100 Mile House Community Club presents – An Evening of Painting with Bobbie Crane “Blast of Autumn”  The event will take place on Wednesday, September 4th from 6:00 – 10:00pm at the 100 Mile Community Hall.  There is a cost of $45 per person which includes all supplies needed to take home a beautiful painting on a 11×14 canvas.  This is a fundraiser for the Community Hall.  Pre-registration and payment is required.  For more information you can call Elaine Suanders at 250.706.8112 or Linda Jefferson at 250.706.9662.
