Background:
After the closing of Bridge Lake school, our community
also lost the playground (because despite being built with collected money from the infamous Bridge Lake School auctions, it was considered property of the school district). So the purpose of this fundraiser is to build a new playground on the property of the Interlakes Community Centre (Roe Lake Hall) which means that this playground will belong to the Community and can’t be taken away.
The Interlakes Outhouse Races are back on February 17th at the Interlake Service Centre. Registration is at 10am and races start at 11am. There will be lots of activities like ice sculpturing, sleighrides with lots of food vendors too. Phone Rona Steve at 250-593-4344 for more information.

The Ducks Unlimited Annual Banquet and Auction is being held of February 23rd at the 100 Mile Community Hall. Doors open at 5:30pm with auction to follow dinner. Tickets can be purchased at Donex Pharmacy, Life Cycle Financial and the 108 Super Market.
