Cariboo Regional District Library Presents: Saturday Songs and Stories, a story-time for families with children under 5, but older siblings are welcome. You can join them in the 100 Mile house library program room, Saturdays from 10 to 11 am. Bring your library card.
Farmers Market – Enjoy the many vendors from the South Cariboo. You can join them every Friday from 9am to 2pm outside and inside the 100 Mile Community Hall.
Interlakes Farmers Market will be held every Saturday until September from 10am to 2pm at the Interlakes Service Centre on Hwy 24 by the Interlakes Store.
Every Saturday throughout July and August, Cariboo residents of all ages are invited to come out and enjoy Music at the Lakes as artists play their tunes. This week you can enjoy the music of Dan Larsen from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. This event is at the Interlakes Service Centre at 7592 Hwy 24 in Lone Butte for more info call 250.593.4869.
Wranglers Golf Tournament – Saturday, July 27th come and play some golf and meet some current and former Wrangler players and staff at the 108 Mile Golf Resort. A Texas scramble round of golf starting at 10am Entry fee is $125 per person, which includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, a sleeve (3) of Wrangler logo golfs balls and a banquet. There will be a Town Hall Meeting Hosted by the District of 100 Mile House and the Cariboo Regional District with Horton Ventures and other industry leaders, the series beings with a Townhall Meeting at the South Cariboo Recreation Centre that will provide residents and businesses with the opportunity to express their concerns and ask questions and brainstorm ideas. It will take place from 10am to 5pm
GWRRA District Rally – Over 100 Honda Gold Wing Motorcyclists will be converging on 100 Mile House the weekend of July 25th to 27th for the First Gold Coast Wing Riders Association North West Coast District Rally – “Wings in the Cariboo”. Community Kitchen is holding a drop in July 29th from 1 – 5pm with a Community Dinner to follow: All are welcome. Admission to Dinner by Donation, Free to Those in Need. You can join them in the Valley Room Kitchen at 98B Cecil Pl (Behind ‘The Lodge’ behind the Red coach Inn)
The 29th Annual Interlakes Rodeo will take place August 3rd and 4th. You will be able to take in all major rodeo events, plus a wild horse race and mini bareback riding – stay tuned for more information next week!
