Cariboo Regional District Library Presents: Saturday Songs and Stories, a story-time for families with children under 5, but older siblings are welcome. You can join them in the 100 Mile house library program room, Saturdays from 10 to 11 am. Bring your library card.
Cariboo Regional District Library is also hosting “Imagine The Possibilities” Summer reading club for 2019. The library invites children 3 – 12 years old to join up for FREE. You can join them at the Rolf Zeis Memorial Arena in LacLaHache on Sundays, Tuesdays & Thursdays at a cost of $3.50 Per Day. Happy Canada Day with the 108 Heritage Site come on out and celebrate Canada Day on July 1st from 10am to 3:30 pm. There is something for everyone! Opening Ceremonies are at 10AM – there will lots of events throughout the day, something for everyone!
Metalocalypstick Fest is on June 29th and 30th at the Lone Butte Community Hall. This is a non profit music festival formed to support women and non-binary people in metal, punk and the hardcore community bands. Acts from Australia, Canada, Egypt, Mexico and the U.S. are performing. Tickets are available at www.metalpcalypstickfest.rocks. Proceeds go to charities such as Girls Rock Camp and the Vancouver Rape Relief and Women’s shelter.
