Parkside Art Gallery presents the works of Helen Kellington – From Architect to Artist Will have an opening reception on Friday, September 13th from 5 – 7pm and you can enjoy this presentation thru to October 5th. Parkside is open Tuesday to Friday from 10 – 4 on Saturday 10 – 3 at the corner of 4th and Cedar.
Cariboo Regional District Library Presents: Saturday Songs and Stories, a story-time for families with children under 5, but older siblings are welcome. You can join them in the 100 Mile house library program room, Saturdays from 10 to 11 am. Bring your library card.
Come Cheer on the Wranglers in their first home game of the season against Golden. You can join them at the South Cariboo Rec Centre on September 14th at 7pm.
Eclectica Choir Registration will take place on September 18th at 6:30. To register, drop by the 100 Mile House United Church. Come on out and join the fun with a talented bunch of singers of all ages and musical backgrounds. Additional Registration dates are also being held on the 25th of September with rehearsals to follow. The Registration fee for this term is $30.00 – No experience is necessary!

There will be a Poultry Swap on September 15th in 100 Mile House. The Swap will be hosted by Cariboo Central Interior Poultry Producers Association from 10am to 1pm at the New Cal Rabbit Farm and Feed, you can find them at 6691 Hwy 97 – Call 250-395-3336 to book your spot. Open to all poultry classes (turkey, chicken, duck, geese, etc) and small Livestock (sheep, goats, rabbits) Feed with be available at the same time.
Craft Beer Festival – Enjoy different beers from five breweries. Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased at Jackson’s Social Club, El Caballo, New Roads Nutrition, RE/MAX and Stolz CPA. It will take place on September 14th at the 100 Mile House Community Hall from 6:30 – 9:30.
The Terry Fox Run is on for September 15th at the Centennial Park. Registration will start at 9am. The walk will start at 10am. There will be a 2km and a 5km distance to participate in. This year they are making this a family event with live music starting at 11:30am and ending at 2:30pm, with 3 different artists performing. There will be hot dogs and refreshments for sale. The 100 Mile House Lions Club will be cooking the hot dogs which can be purchased by donation, with the proceeds going to the Terry Fox Foundation. September 16 – 21st – The Snow Queen – Hosted by the 100 Mile Performing Arts Society will be at Martin Exeter Hall. All students, grade K – 12 are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. The Snow Queen is a Missoula Children’s Theaters unique international touring project. Auditions are Monday September 16th at 3:30. Spaghetti Social Community Dinner, Friday, September 20th from 5:00pm to 7:30pm – Dinner will be served until 6:30pm. This event is being hosted by St. Timothy’s and The Stemete7uwi’Friendship Centre. Come on out and enjoy Spaghetti, Ceasar Salad, Garlic Bread and great company. There is a vegetarian option too! There will also be Music and a small free store.
