On April 26, 2019 at approximately 9:45 P.M., 100 Mile House Fire Rescue responded to Interior Roads property on Industrial Rd. for reports of multiple vehicles on fire. Upon arrival, 100 Mile House Fire Rescue crews observed two Interior Road trucks fully involved in fire with a third one starting to ignite. Heavy fire and smoke could be seen from the surrounding area. In addition, loud explosion sounds could be heard throughout 100 Mile House due to the vehicles being on fire. The explosion sounds were likely due to the large tires igniting.
100 Mile House Fire Rescue crews made quick knock down of the fire and prevented other vehicles from ignition.
The cause is under investigation by 100 Mile House Fire Rescue and the RCMP.
