Original post:

On August 16th 2020 at 11:10 PM, 100 Mile House RCMP responded to a reported missing youth in 100 Mile House BC. A care giver reported Haileigh ARCHIE, a 17 year old indigenous female, as missing after not reporting back to the care giver at her scheduled pick up time.

Haileigh is described as 5 foot 8 inches tall with a heavy build and short black hair. She was last seen wearing an orange shirt, purple shorts and grey runners with a black backpack. Haileigh has a reduced mental capacity and suffers from Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. 100 Mile House RCMP are very concerned about Haileigh as she is encouraged to take daily medication in support of her ongoing care.

She has likely travelled to another community given the current information, most likely Williams Lake BC, but Haileigh has told family she was travelling with an Indigenous male known to her and may have gone to Vancouver but is heading to Kamloops BC within the next couple of days. Further details of this male are still being sought by Police at the time of this media release. Any updates will be released as they come available.

Please see the attached photograph of Haileigh for reference.

If anyone has information regarding the location of Haileigh ARCHIE, please contact the 100 Mile House RCMP at 250-395-2456, or your own local RCMP Detachment or other Policing Agency. Anyone wishing to provide information anonymously can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).
