100 Mile RCMP responded to 71 complaints and calls for service. 2018-09-11 to 2018-09-17
Some highlights are attached.

Sometime between 12:00 and 5:45 pm on September 13th, unknown culprits broke into a residence on Simon Lake Road.
They stole a number of items including power tools, a riding lawn-mower and a flat-deck trailer with BC Plate WAS75K.

On September 13th, 100 Mile RCMP were advised of a possible overdue traveler who was supposed to arrive at an address in the Eagle Creek area.

While Search and Rescue and the police helicopter were being activated on the morning of the 14th.

The complainant called to say that the traveler had been located and was safe.

The overdue traveler had lost control of her vehicle on the Hendrix Lake Road and gone into the ditch.

She spent the night in her vehicle and was located by a driver in the morning. The overdue traveler was not injured.

On September 14th, 100 Mile RCMP were called to a suspicious person asleep in the back of a company vehicle. The male suspect was located and detained. During the investigation, it was determined that the male was an American citizen in Canada illegally.

A charge of mischief was recommended to Crown in relation to the damage caused to the company vehicle and the male suspect was held in custody.

Canada Border Services Agency was contacted and will be attending 100 Mile House to begin the process of removing the male from the Country.

Sometime overnight of September 16th, rural mail boxes near Judson Road at Bridge Lake were vandalized and mail was
stolen. The amount of loss is not known at this time.
