Rose Stenberg owner of Kokanee Bay Resort in Lac La Hache and organizer of the LLH Father’s Day Fishing Derby was very happy with the turnout over the weekend. Approximately 350 tickets were sold and lots fish of all sizes were brought in off Lac la Hache to the weigh in station. The event had great sponsorship this year as it usually does and prizes were handed out on Sunday.
Stenberg said, “It’s was as good of a turnout as its been in the past and the weather cooperated fully for both days. I can’t thank the sponsors and volunteers enough for supporting the derby.”

Largest Fish $500 Char 20.1 lb Ed Miller
2nd Largest Fish $300 Char 19.5 lb Dan Stoelwinder
Largest Rainbow Trout $100 Karen Monteit
Largest White Fish $100 Rob Burt
Great turnout and the weather was great too! Thanks to all the business’s and people that donated the prizes. They outdid themselves again.
