The walk started on Sept 9th from Redstone BC on Hwy 20 and hoping to arrive in Williams Lake Sept. 14th

This is the first year for the walk that’s over 147 kms long, over some very long steep hills. Alyssa Brigham, daughter of Marilyn Charleyboy, organizer of the event says; “the walk takes place over the next 5 days and started at the Redstone Gas Bar on Sunday, September 9th.

Allyssa and various volunteers from the Redstone community are taking turns driving the pilot car. The walk is to bring awareness to the violence that happens in their communities. All types of violence. Marilyn’s plan is to walk 30 kms a day. The walk is open to anyone that wishes to participate as well.

Passion for Peace” is the name of the Facebook group where there’s more information about the walk.
Please watch for the ladies walking and the pilot car on Hwy 20 over the next 4-5 days.
