100 Mile Fire Rescue Update August 29, 2018
100 Mile House Fire Rescue responded to a fuel spill located at 95 Cariboo Hwy in front of the local A&W restaurant.100 Mile House Fire Rescue crews were able to quickly contain the spill to the initial area and prevent the product from entering a nearby sewer drain.
No evacuations were required and no injuries were reported. 100 Mile House Fire Rescue members stayed on site until a private contractor could clean up the spill. Representatives from the Ministry of Environment and the District of 100 Mile House Public Works department were advised of the situation.
