64th Annual Provincial Mine Rescue will be having participants from all over the Province will be converging on Williams Lake for this event to prove that they are the best. Today they will be holding a Trade show at the Cariboo Memorial Complex.
Farmers Market from 9:00am – 2:00pm. Come on down to the Cariboo Memorial Complex and enjoy locally made products and produce.
All Nations Spring Classic starts at 10:00 am Registrations on site at 8:30 am
Saturday June 1st
64th Annual Mine Rescue at 8 am to 4 pm they will be holding the Provincial mine rescue in the stampede grounds. This event is open to the public.
The Williams Lake & District Chamber of Commerce is host it’s 2nd Annual Golf Tournament at the Williams Lake & Golf Club. There will be prizes, dinner and lots of fun! Contact the Chamber to sign up!
Race for Kids by Boys & Girls Club at 10:00am -3:00pm. This Adventure begins at herb gardener park. Are you up for a challenge? Its time again to race for kids. Teams of two participate in an urban adventure.
The annual Big Lake Fishing Derby promises to be a whopper. Registration starts May 31st at Big Lake Community Hall. June 1st Beer Survivor at 7 pm to 9 pm. Dance will on Saturday from 9 to 12 am music by Les Anderson. They also will have a 50/50 draw. The event runs from 1 pm m to 8 pm on Friday. Saturday and 6 am to 7 pm. Sunday 6 am to 4 pm.
Concert Blackberry Wood at 8:00pm. The tickets are $15 at the Open Book or The Bean Counter and the ticket at the door will be $20 at the Cariboo Memorial Complex

McLeese Lake holds a farmer’s market every Sunday from 9 am to 1 pm.

Williams Lake Wanderers at 9:15 at the Cariboo Memorial Complex. If you are interested in joining then please meet at the Cariboo Memorial Complex. They do a variety of different things through out the year, from Kayaking, Hiking, Walking, Snowshoeing, Biking, Skiing. Please call to find what they will be doing today.
