The 100 Mile & District Historical Society is hosting a Heritage market every Saturday from 10am – 2pm at the 108 Historical Site now until the end of September. The Cariboo Regional Library is hosting a free Summer Reading Club for children ages 3 – 12. The Reading Club runs July 2nd through to August 22nd finishing with a final party. This event will include reading, games, crafts and more Register at the Library starting NOW!

 

 

 

100 Mile House’s first ART CRAWL is starting Friday June 21st with an opening ceremony at the Parkside Art Gallery at 11am. Self-guided tour booklets will be available at the gallery for you to visit some amazing local art at local businesses. The opening ceremony will provide lunch by donation to the Stemete7uw’I Friendship Centre.

 

 

On Thursday June 27th the SC Farmers Market is presenting their first Night Market starting at 4pm and going to 8pm down town 100 Mile House. There will be some of your favorite vendors and some new ones too. There will be hot food and cold beverages. Bring the whole family to enjoy homemade pies and kids face painting! Big Rock Ranch is having a Family Sunday Funday on July 7th from 12pm – 4pm. This will. Include farm tours, farm education including seeds, bees and chickens. A bbq will be offered and story time with the kids. Plus lots of fun and games! Entry is by donation with all proceeds going to the Big Brothers & Big Sisters mentor-ship program.

 

 

The Age Friendly Society of the South Cariboo is excited for their upcoming Seniors Resource Fair on June 20th from 10am -3pm at the South Cariboo Rec Centre. Over 50 exhibitors will be in attendance to share the services and resources available in the South Cariboo to support seniors and their families. BC Wildfire will be onsite to present a fire smart presentation as well!

 

 

 

It’s adult soccer time. Meet at the 100 Mile House & District Soccer Fields for tons of fun on the pitch. $5 drop in or $40 for the season until the end of September. This is a recreation mixed drop in league. Join them every Thursday at 7pm. Plus recreational ladies soccer has start on Wednesday evenings at 7pm at the soccer fields. $5 drop in or $40 for the season. This is for any women that have no skill, have lots of skill or just a little bit of skill… this is a place for all ladies that just want to get out and have a great time with lots of laughter and exercise. Get some shin guards and give it a try. You will love it!!

 

 

The South Cariboo Summer Festival is going to see a great line up of music! Join us August 10th and 11th at the SCRC and grounds. The live music features Maddison Olds, Dutch Courage, and the Kordaroy Band! Plus tons of activities for the kids with Uncle Chris the Clown, Kids Fire Fighter Challenge, Maverick Farms Petting Zoo and much more! The 108 Mile Ranch is turning 50 this year! Celebrations are happening June 21 through 23. Come out for an evening of fun as the celebration continues into the evening with a barn dance in the upper floor of the historic Watson Barn, This is a family friendly event and all ages are welcome. This is a free event and donations will be accepted with profits going to the 108 Heritage Site.

 

 

 

The Hot July Nights Committee is in full swing gearing up for the Hot July Nights Car & Bike Show. Three days of activities are planned. Friday July 12th is a meet and greet at A&W including a show and shine and rod run, July 13th includes the poker run, BBQ and entertainment and the big event the Show & Shine in Centennial Park 100 Mile House on the 14th .
