In the name of healthy futures and opportunity advancement, Chief Victor Roy Stump and Councillor Chad Stump made a presentation to the students and trail workers at ?Esdilagh on July 30th 2019. With the help from community members like Crystal Verhaeghe “staff of ?Esdilagh Band” and Partner Thomas Schoen, ?Esdilagh gifted 10 bikes to its community Trail Crew and its Youth yesterday! This was made possible by an successful grant by rural dividends to the ?Esdilagh Band. Everyone participated in a bike skills course and then off they went for a ride on their new bikes.
Councillor Chad Stump said, “I am super excited to give the opportunity to these youth and even the trail crew. For so long our people sat with nothing and no opportunities in life, now times are changing and as a council member we have to create the opportunities for our next generation to succeed. Having a healthy community and healthy youth is absolute priority for the Council of ?Esdilagh”
