Coats for All 2019 is looking to Give warmth to others.  Drop off used winter coats, snowsuits, toques, mitts and scarves to the 100 Mile Laundromat (located in Owen Square, across from the library).  If possible, please wash items and label them as – washed.  You can drop off items between the 1st and 30th of November.  People can pick up needed items between November 5th and 30th at Loaves and Fishes, 100 Mile Food Bank, The Family Enrichment Centre, South Cariboo Health Centre, Canim Lake and Canoe Lake Bands and the Stemete7uw’I Friendship Centre.  For more information you can call Annie at 250.395.6054.

Moonlit Starry Nights are going to light up our evenings starting on November 22nd after the Santa Claus Parade.  You are invited to participate in this special fundraising event by purchasing a star for $50.00.  If you want to be a Health Sponsor please donate to Bag 399, 100 Mile House, B.C. V0K 2E0 or drop off at the South Cariboo Health Desk ( use rear entrance or call Brenda at 250.706.2101.  This year, the money raised will go toward the purchase of urology equipment that will enable people in our community to have more tests done in town instead of needing to travel to an out of area hospital.

Parkside’s 11th Annual Christmas Bazaar is on November 16th to December 24th.  The Bazaar will be featuring our Best Artisans and Creative Makers.  You can find us at the corner of 4th and Cedar.  The Gallery is open Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Spaghetti Social is on.  All Are Welcome!  This is a Free Community Dinner, held tonight, Friday, November 15th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm (dinner is served till 6:30)  You can join them at the corner of Blackstock and Horse Lake Rd.  No need to call ahead, just show up 😊 They will be serving Spaghetti – Ceasar Salad – Garlic Break and Desserts – A vegetarian option is available.  There will also be music and a free store.  The Dinner is brought to you by St. Timothy’s Anglican Church and the Stemete7uw’I Friendship Centre.

Karoake at the Royal Canadian Legion #260 on November 15th at 7:00 pm. R & R Entertainment will be on site.  The Kitchen is Open!

The Farmers Market Christmas Market is on November 15th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm & and November 16th from 9:00am to 2:00 pm at the 100 Mile House Community Hall.  There will be Live Music / Hot Drinks / Kids Craft Corner / Pig Roast / Photos with Santa and 40 plus vendors!

The 100 Mile House Wranglers face off at home against the Summerland Steam!  You can come cheer them on, on Friday, November 15th at 7pm at our South Cariboo Rec Centre.

The 42nd Annual 100 Mile & District Arts Council Winter Arts and Crafts Fair will be on Friday, November 22nd 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday, November 23rd from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the 100 Mile Community Hall.  This is an opportunity to get your picture with Santa!  There will be a huge variety of quality handcrafted products, original art, books, glass art, pottery, wood work and so much more!  There will be entertainment and a concession brought to you by the 100 Mile House Rotary Club.  Admission is $2.00 per person and includes entry to door prizes.  Children under 12 years of age are free.  There will be draws every hour.
