Storyteller, Justyn Rees and singer/songwriters; Russ Rosen, Shari Ulrich and Graham Ord to deliver the songs and stories like you’ve never heard before! As the seventh year of Christmas Tales launches, we’re excited about a brand-new vibe: 3 singer/songwriters blending their own original songs with traditional carols for fresh take on this well-established production. We are thrilled to have our friend and Canadian music legend, Shari Ulrich joining the Christmas Tales cast. Shari will add her joyful self, her guitar, fiddle, mandolin and her signature voice to the hilarious and inspiring retelling of the first Christmas. Graham Ord is again on the tour with unending laughter, antics and incomparable musicianship. From the gritty sounds of his Gretsch guitar, to the gutsy gospel blues of his vocals, Graham effortlessly draws an audience in with his passion. Added to the mix is our veteran storyteller, Justyn Rees whose zany mind has reimagined the collection of Bethlehem characters in a way that is profoundly current and touchingly comical. His telling weaves the power of the Nativity in and around this exceptional musical backdrop. Russ Rosen is your host and takes the role of troubadour bard bringing musical voice to the story’s key characters and pulling the audience right into the heart of the action freely swept into singing along with this trio of minstrels. It’s a magical collaboration – Christmas like you’ve never heard it before.
