Moonlit Starry Nights are on and shining bright!  You can be a Health Star by purchasing a star for $50.00.  If you want to be a Health Sponsor please donate to Bag 399, 100 Mile House, B.C. V0K 2E0 or drop off at the South Cariboo Health Desk (use rear entrance or call Brenda at 250.706.2101.  This year, the money raised will go toward the purchase of urology equipment that will enable people in our community to have more tests done in town instead of needing to travel to an out of area hospital.

The 100 Mile House Wranglers will be facing off against the Kelowna Chiefs on Saturday, January 4th.  The doors open at 5:30. On Saturday, January 11th they will face off against the Kamloops Storm with a start time of 7:00pm.  You can come out and cheer them on at the South Cariboo Rec Centre.

A Free Skate is being sponsored by RBC on Sunday, the 5th of January from 1:15 to 2:45 at the South Cariboo Rec Centre.

Butterfly Brushes is a fundraiser for 100 Mile Hospice.  The workshop will be led by artist Kim Johnston.  The cost is $35 per person which includes all (paint) supplies.  Food and drinks will be available for purchase.  Get tickets by calling the 100 Mile Hospice office at 250.395.7680 or at the Donex Service Counter.  The event will take place at the 108 Steak House Bar from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday, January 13th.

There will be a New Year Craft with the 100 Mile House Branch Library.  Come join in the creative fun in making this New Years Craft.  Pre-registration is a must.  To register, you can go into the library in person or call 250.395.2332.
