Cariboo Ski Touring Club is planning a little wood gathering/cabin tidying trip to Murray Cabin. Aiming to meet at the parking area by Barkerville Hwy turnoff at 8am. If you have an axe and enjoy splitting wood come on out. Will be an all day adventure, bring lunch, layers, camera and headlamp (just in case). Please carpool with those in your bubble and respect social distancing .

Cheer on the winners of the 2020 Business Excellence Awards on October 3rd at 1 pm. A parade of new vehicles from Fraser River GM and Regency Chrysler will be driving our winners of each category around town, led by our own RCMP. The parade route starts on Vaughan Street , goes down McLean Street , down Reid Street, over to Kinchant Street and back to Vaughan Street. While safely distancing cheer, clap, jump, do back flips what ever you can to show your positive support for our businesses.

Ice Dye Workshop

In this class you will learn about Fibre Content and why it is important; the many different types of textile dyes; explore basic color theory; how to dye fabrics using eco-friendly low water immersion techniques, and explore different ways to manipulate fabrics to make patterns. Tie-Dye Workshop for Kids

This is a fun beginner class designed to teach you the basics of textile dyeing. Kids will be shown 4 to 5 different tie dye techniques, learn the basics of color mixing, and will have an opportunity to create their own wearable art. Included in the workshop is one pillowcase and one t-shirt and all you’ll need to bring up to 2 additional items. Pre-Booking is Required, suitable for children 8 years+ and space is limited to 6 + adult Cost: $65.00 per person
