The Quesnel & District Hospice Palliative Care Association is looking for help with their butterfly project! Each year they host a Christmas Remembrance tree event. People who are missing loved ones can stop by, write a note for their loved one, hang it on the tree, take a symbolic butterfly and turn on a light bulb. If you or someone you know can crochet and is willing to lend a hand they could really use your help in making the 1000 they’re going for. Portrait Painting in Oils

Paint a 12 x 16 oil portrait from your own reference image over 2 days. Small group size, each participant will have their own work table. No experience is necessary, but some drawing experience is helpful. They will use M. Graham walnut oil paints, and walnut oil as their medium which have very little, if any odour.
