The cohort of the Social Service Workers Program at the College of New Caledonia have a Fundraiser on right now to support Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Quesnel (BBBSQ). BBBSQ are a vital community resource and have been impacted by Covid in terms of being able to access and raise funds to cover their valuable programs. The fundraiser is “I pledge” and the idea is you pledge $10 and ask 10 of your friends to do the same. This is a virtual 5k Walk or Run fundraiser with Profits being donated to the Quesnel Women’s Resource Centre. Once registered with Reason 2 Run, you can pick up your bib in person or curbside at 428 Reid Street, or have it mailed to the address specified on your registration. Once completed, you will take your bib as proof of registration to the Barkerville Brewing Co. where you will receive 1 post race pint (19 and older) or non-alcoholic beverage (under 19) courtesy of the Barkerville Brewery Co.
