James Clancy and Natalie Cox from the Red Rock Grill along with their amazing staff were hard at work Saturday night cooking up over 250 pounds of Alaskan King Crab and delicious prime rib for the Big Country Shrine Club #50 Dinner Auction.

The 100 Mile Community Hall was packed for the event that raised well over $20,000! Donna Barnett did an amazing job as a auctioneer, getting people to open their wallets for this great cause.

Several people received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Shriners of British Columbia for their generous fundraising support for children in BC and the Yukon requiring medical attention. This included MLA Cariboo-Chilcotin Donna Barnett, Glen and Norma Clancy and Frank and Vivian Dobbs who were unable to attend the event this year.

“The Shriners Hospitals for Children is a health care system of 22 hospitals dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing pediatric specialty care, innovative research, and outstanding teaching programs for medical professionals.”
