The Williams Lake Fire Department is working with local land owners and developers to reduce the fuel load within the City of Williams Lake’s fire protection boundary.
The City has issued burn permits to remove or reduce historical slash piles and overgrowth surrounding the City.
Residents can anticipate burning activities to occur periodically over the next few weeks in the Westridge and Hamel Estates areas.
