The Old Timers Hockey Association hosted the 2nd Annual Fun Hockey Day Fundraiser for the Rolf Zeis Memorial Arena on Sunday, December 1st from 8 am to 5 pm. The day consisted of players making a $20 donation to the arena and that got each player all the ice time they wanted or could handle. The Fun Day also hosted a beer garden, concession and silent auction with a variety of donated auction items from local businesses and residents. End of the day total was $4217 . Big thanks to all the wonderful community volunteers, players and the Old Timers Hockey Association. The Rolf Zeis Memorial Arena is 100% community owned/operated and the funds go directly to operating/maintaining cost. Phil Doddridge one of the organizers commented that the Lac La Hache Arena is a place where the community comes together.
