Parkside Art Gallery presents ‘We die’, featuring the works of Anita Edwards, Barb Brown and Claudia Ring.  Parkside is open Tuesday to Friday from 10 – 4 and on Saturday from 10 – 3 at the corner of 4th and Birch.

The Wranglers are taking on the Columbia Valley Rockies on October 18th at the South Cariboo Rec Centre.  Game starts at 7pm.  They will take on the Kamloops Storm on Tuesday, October 22nd at the Cariboo Rec Centre.  This game will start at 6pm.  Ticket prices are Adults $10.50 Seniors & Students $8.50 with Children under 5 Free.

Spaghetti Social – All are welcome! – It’s Free!  Community Dinner – Friday, October 18th from 5:00 to 7:30 (Dinner served until 6:30). You can join them at the corner of Blackstock Road and Horse Lake Road at St. Timothy’s in the basement. – No Need to call ahead!  – Just show up.  They will be serving Spaghetti – Ceasar Salad and Garlic Bread.  A vegetarian option is available.  There will be music and a free store as well.  This event is sponsored by St. Timothy’s Anglican Church & the Stemete7uw’I Friendship Centre.

Deka Lake Fall Dinner is on at the Deka Lake Fire Hall On Saturday, October 19th.  Happy Hour is at 5pm, Dinner is at 6pm.

Cariboo Regional District Library Presents:  Saturday Songs and Stories, a story-time for families with children under 5, but older siblings are welcome.  You can join them in the 100 Mile house library program room, Saturdays from 10 to 11 am.  Bring your library card..

The Age Friendly Society of the South Cariboo is hosting an information session on medical assistance in dying including background application and qualification for the process.  It will touch on alternatives as well.  You can join them at the Creekside Seniors Centre, just behind the hospital on October 24th from 1:30 to 3:00pm.

The 100 Mile House Legion is holding a Halloween Dance on Friday, October 25th.  The Dance starts at 7pm.  Mark Allen will be the entertainment.  Tickets are $15 at the door.  There will be prizes for best costumes and door prizes.  The kitchen will be open from 4pm to 9pm.  Safe Drive home is by donation.  For more info call 250.395.2511.
