Spaghetti Social – Community Dinner is on Friday, December 13th from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm with dinner being served up to 6:30. You can join them at St. Timothy’s Church basement on the corner of Blackstock Road and Horse Lake Road – No need to call ahead! – Just show up! They will be serving Spaghetti – Ceasar Salad – Garlic Bread and Desserts. A vegetarian option is available. There will be music and a free store as well. Remax is hosting their Annual Food Drive – Watch for the paper bag in the December 12th Cariboo Connector. Fill it up with nonperishable food items from home or your favorite grocery store. You can drop it off Monday thru Saturday between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm at the Re/Max 100 Office or, stop by and see us at Save-On-Foods Friday, Dec 13th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm or Saturday, December 14th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The Kids Space Group is presenting their 9th Annual Christmas Celebration! It’s a Christmas Pageant – Potluck Dinner & Caroling! The 26th Annual Community Christmas Dinner is being sponsored by the Christian Churches of 100 Mile House and area. Everyone is welcome! No tickets or RSVP is required. Nordics Solstice – Celebration of Light is on December 21st from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Join them for a night you won’t forget. They invite everyone to attend the lighting ceremony. Expect a festive atmosphere and fun. The new LED lights will light the way for more ski time. This event is open to all community members and it’s a great time to check out the best little ski club in BC. The Lodge will be open, so feel free to grab a bite before the show starts. A Truckstop’s Christmas is on December 21st at the Hungry Bear Diner and Truckstop in Lac La Hache. Get ready for a fun filled afternoon with the Hungry Bear and Little Country Trucking from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm. For just $10.00 you can enjoy a spaghetti dinner and live entertainment. Local boys and girls 12 years and under can enter to win toy trucks and toy horses. There will be a colouring contest, a decorated truck and a Christmas horse on site.
