204-488 McLean St.

The Canadian Mental Health Association of Northern BC is excited to announce that they are now providing free boxes of fresh produce to those in need in Quesnel. This pilot program was made possible by a generous donation from our local West Fraser Mills and a partnership with Long Table Grocery, with the aim of filling gaps for those on low-income with specialized diets, those who are food insecure with limited access to fresh food sources, and those who are in need but hesitant to access food supports for the first time. The food boxes will consist mainly of fresh produce with the possibility of customization, delivery, and other options, dependent on the individual’s situation. If you have any questions or know people in need, connect with them at 236-424-1998.
