This pilot program was made possible by a generous donation from our local West Fraser Mills and a partnership with Long Table Grocery, with the aim of filling gaps for those on low-income with specialized diets, those who are food insecure with limited access to fresh food sources, and those who are in need but hesitant to access food supports for the first time. The food boxes will consist mainly of fresh produce with the possibility of customization, delivery, and other options, dependent on the individual’s situation.
