The Story Walk Fall 2020 is on Tuesdays & Fridays from September 4th to November 27th. In the Parkside Art Gallery Garden area at the corner of 4th and Cedar.

South Cariboo Theatre will be showing The New Mutants at 7:00 pm starting on Friday the 18th and showing thru till September 24th. The Theatre is closed on Monday and Tuesday.

The South Cariboo, after much thought and discussion, has decided to close again in the COVID climate. As much as they have enjoyed being back and seeing everyone who has come into support them, the timing just wasn’t right. The lack of new movies is frustrating for everyone, and while it’s always fun to watch older movies on the big screen, it’s not economically feasible at this point. The South Cariboo Theatre wants to thank everyone for their support this year, as they know it has been a very trying time for many. Rest assured, when the production companies start releasing movies more reliably, our doors will be open and the popcorn will be fresh.

Red Cross Babysitting Course for 11+ years will be running on Saturday, October 24th from 10am to 3pm at the South Cariboo Rec Centre. The cost of the course is $75.00 plus GST. Masks are required in the facility at all times. Space for this course is very limited, so book early by calling 250.395.1353 to register.
