Student Leadership Conference 200 students will be descending on the City for a conference on Moving beyond Hope. with guest speakers and workshop to inspire the youth.

Toonie Skate at 12:30 to 2pm at the Cariboo Memorial Complex

Family Pumpkin Splash at 6:30pm – 8:00pm. Pumpkin games and activities at the Pool

K2 the Savage Mountain at 6:30pm. Trek through the Karakoram Mountain range to see the World’s 2nd tallest Mountain. Presented by Sean Donahue and Lubna of their trekking adventure in Pakistan at Scout Island Nature.

Haunted House at 7:00pm to 9:00pm. A the NOOPA Youth Centre there is going to be a Haunted House with admission by donation (money or non-perishable food item. This intended to scare so please leave your little one at home. Friday is family friendly and Saturday is full scare.

Saturday October 26th

Swan Song Festival – Breathing Life into Death at 10:00am to 9:00pm. This Fall, Cariboo Community Death caring Network, in partnership with Community Death care Canada, is hosting the Swan Song Festival. SATURDAY OCTOBER 26th. This inaugural annual festival is intended to mobilize communities across Canada to re-engage with dying and death care in more meaningful, holistic and environmentally sustainable ways.

Eastern Star Tea, Market and Bake Sale at 1:00pm to 3:00pm at St. Andrews United Church Basement McKinnon Hall 1000 Huckvale Place. Come on out and enjoy some amazing tea and goodies! Don’t forget to check out the craft table while you are there!

24th Annual Business Excellence Awards at 5:00pm to 10:00pm. The Williams Lake & District Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their 24th Annual Business Excellence Awards at the Elks Halls. If you would like to nominate a business, please refer to the Chamber Website

Halloween at Miocene at 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Miocene is having it annual Halloween party, with a haunted house and they will have lots of games, please wear a costume. admission to the haunted is house is a bag of candies

Family and Friends Halloween Party at 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chimney Lake. Games, food and activities for kids with fireworks at dark.

Monday October 28th

Walking Group at 9:00am. Meet every Monday and Wednesday at 9 am sharp at trailhead. Today they are heading out to Cyclone Smiths Homestead.

Tuesdays October 29th

Williams Lake Wanderers 9:00am. Mission Road bike/walk is the location of today’s adventure, if you are interested in joining then please meet at the Cariboo Memorial Complex.

Halloween Pumpkin Carving 6:00pm – 8:30pm. Prizes for top 3 costumes, Grillverado cooking Hot Dogs and Halloween Crafts for Tots. They will also have pumpkin galore so bring carving tools if you have them but are not necessary.

Wednesday October 30th

Williams Lake Wanderers 9:00am – 10:30am. Today the Williams Lake Wanderers will be exploring the Box Trail hike located on Highway 20 If you are interested in joining the group then please meet at the Cariboo Memorial Complex at 9am.

Walking Group at 9:00am -11:00am. Meet every Monday and Wednesday at 9 am sharp at trailhead. Today they are heading out to Signal Point please meet at the Maranatha School.

Halloween Party at Horsefly at the Horsefly Community Club will be having there annual Halloween Party for our little ghosts and goblins of Horsefly

Today the Williams Lake Wanderers will be exploring the Pablo Road located off Dog Creek Road. If you are interested in joining the group, then please meet at the Cariboo Memorial Complex at 9am.

Lerae Haynes Music and More at 10:00am to 11:00am. At the Child Development Centre Early Years drop in program presents Lerae Haynes. Come out to enjoy music and more. This is a free event for children up to the age of 6 with their caregiver and siblings of all ages welcome. Special 2-hour sessions on October 24, November 21, December 19 from 10 am to 12 pm

Halloween Haunted House Fundraiser at 3:00pm – 8:00pm. Halloween Haunted House fundraiser at 3pm-8pm located at Canadian Mental Health Association 51 4th Ave south Williams Lake. Entry is by Donation, and all ages are welcome

Family Halloween Party at the 150 Fire Hall at 6:30pm – 8:00pm. Come on out and join your neighbors for so Halloween fun. There will be Fireworks, Hot dogs, Cotton candy, Hot chocolate, goodie bags, Coffee, and of course a Bonfire to help you keep warm. Donation are greatly appreciated. Fireworks are at 8 pm.
