Vintage Valentine is on both Friday and Saturday. Vintage Valentines burlesque show and was a rip-roaring success last year. Come on out and join in a fun and raunchy night of female empowerment and… at the Ramada Convention centre

Men’s & Ladies Bonspiel is taking place all weekend. The fun starts at 9:00am – 6:00pm

Baby Time takes place every Friday from 2:30pm to 3:00pm. Providing that you are never too young to learn as long as you’re having fun.

Jam Night from 7:00pm to 12:00am. Musician of all levels come on out and bring a couple songs that you can play.

Pain and Glory is the feature present by the Williams Lake film Club and takes place from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Cariboo Memorial Complex. Antonio Banderas gives his best, most committed performance in years as a film director looking back over his life in “Pain and Glory,” a typically rich, layered film from director Pedro Almodóvar. “A deeply personal and very moving film, anchored by the best work of Antonio Banderas’ career.”

Saturday February 8th

Gold Rush Trail Snowmobile Ride to Mt Timothy. We will leave the Spout Lake Parking Lot (directions below at approx. 9:30 am and head to Mt. Timothy for lunch (approx. $20-$25). Please let me know, Laurie Snowball, either by email, text or call 250-392-0253 and confirm that you are coming on the ride. I need to let the kitchen at Mt. Timothy know how many of us are coming. DIRECTIONS TO SPOUT LAKE PARKING LOT (1 KM FROM TEN-EE-AH LODGE). From Williams Lake: Drive to 150 Mile House. Turn left onto Pigeon Road (at the Husky 150 Centre). Drive about 1-kilometre up Pigeon Rd, past the Fire Hall to the Redeau Lake Road. This is also called the Moffat Forest Service Rd or the 2300 Rd. At the 29.5 km marker on the 2300 Rd, turn right onto the 108-Horsefly Rd. The 108-Horsefly Road is a winding road that goes for about 9.5 kms before you get to the intersection of Eagle Lake (Murphy Lake) Rd going to the left, and the Spout Lake Road going to the right. This intersection is right by the Cougar Creek Lodge. Turn right onto the Spout Lake Road for about 2km. The GRST parking lot will be on the right.From Lac La Hache: From Highway 97, turn up towards up the Timothy Lake Road (at the Hungry Bear Diner). Travel about 7km on the Timothy Lake Road until you come to the intersection of the Timothy Lake Rd and the Spout Lake Rd. Turn left and travel a further 28 km North (according the Google Maps) on the Spout Lake Road, past Rail Lake to Ten-ee-ah Lodge. The GRST Parking lot is 1km North of Ten-ee-ah on the Left (West) side of the Spout Lake Rd. Google Maps says the total distance from Hwy 97 to the Spout Lake Parking lot is 35.7km.

Tumble and Play from 10:00am to 11:30am. Come on down to Marie Sharpe for a free play time with mats and balls for ages 0 to 5-year-old.

One in Chamber – Shooting up the Dance Floor from10:00pm. We are about to welcome One In The Chamber to the house… at The Overlander Pub… so come on out and show these guys some support. Sunday February 9th

Valentines Day Tea at the Seniors Activity Centre from 2 to 3 pm.

Academy Awards Viewing Party at 5:00pm – 9:00pm. It’s film awards season, and the Williams Lake Film Club is celebrating by hosting our first ever Academy Awards Viewing Party at MR MIKES on Sunday February 9th, 2020 from 5pm-9pm. This is a fun event to celebrate film and to raise funds for the food bank. Tickets are $30, and we’re providing appetizers, one free drink, games, and door prizes. To get a ticket, you MUST purchase at The Open Book (no ticket sales at the door). There are less than 30 tickets available, so if you want to come, don’t wait! There will be no ticket sales at the door. Profits from this evening will be donated to the Williams Lake Salvation Army Food Bank. Finally: fancy dress code in effect. Bring your red-carpet look!

Monday February 10th

Pride Social at 5:30pm in Mr. Mike’s event room.  We will bring the games if you bring the fun. Snack will be provided

Ladies Drop in Colouring 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Drop in Colouring at the Women’s Contact Society 51 A Fourth Ave Williams Lake BC. Supplies and refreshments are provided

Valentines Day Pet Photos from 2:00pm – Wednesday, Feb 8:00pm

All Proceeds go toward our National Cupcake day Fundraiser for our local SPCA. We will have cupcake available by donation for Dogs and their people, and loonie auction with some great items up for grabs!
