In the spirit of Halloween, this months’ screening will be the 2012 animated feature “Paranorman” featuring the voices of Anna Kendrick, Casey Affleck and John Goodman. This is best described as a horror film with heart.
Young Norman does in fact “see dead people” so therefore he is tapped by his uncle to be the only one who can stop the town’s curse. He is also 11 years old and somewhat of an outcast due to his gift. Humour and scares combine while the viewer wonders if he can save the town from the return of a witch’s curse. This film is rated PG and is not recommended for sensitive children under the age of 10. At 3 pm in the Programme Room for this screening. As always, snacks and refreshments will be provided.
