Farmers Market from 10 am to 2 pm. Come on down to the Cariboo Memorial Complex and enjoy locally made products and produce.

BBQ Lunch from 11:00am -2:00pm. Margett’s Meats is holding a Thank You to Forestry Workers BBQ Lunch from 11 to 2 pm with Burgers hotdogs, chips and pop.

BC Outdoor Sport Fishing Tour from 3:00pm -7:00pm. Mike Mitchell and the BC outdoor sport fishing tour will be at Heartland Toyota on October 4th.

Oktoberfest- Join the Party from 5:00pm -10:00pm. Beer, Music, Food. Join us for the Meat Draw from 5pm to 6pm and then stay for the food and entertainment. The Band Second Wind will start at 7 pm.

Saturday October 5th

Cariboo Wedding and Grad Show from 11:00am -4:00pm. The Gibraltar Room is holding the annual wedding and Grad show from 11 am to 4 pm. They will be holding a Fashion Show and music.

14th Annual Diamond Dinner from 6:00pm -11:00pm. Join the Women’s Contact Society and the Cariboo Chilcotin Child Development Centre in our 14th Annual Diamond Dinner Fundraising event at the Signal Point banquet room. The evening will include a gourmet dinner, auctions and raffles, with the highlight of the evening, being the raffle of a Canadian diamond, sponsored in part by Woodland Jewelers. Net proceeds will support the Good Food Box program and CDC programming. Sunday October 6th

Pancake Breakfast from 8:30am – 11:00am. At the Legion they are holding a pancake breakfast and $10 gets you 2 bacon, 2-sausages, 2 pancakes, and scrambled eggs with coffee, tea, and juice.

Fall Harvest Run at 11:00am to 1:00pm. All Community members are welcome to come out and enjoy a stroll in the city (walking, running or biking) with the whole family. There will be baskets to be won with a harvest Scavenger Hunt.

Fall Leaves: A Riot of Colour from 1:00pm -3:00pm. A Nature Kids Event at Scout Island. Magic is in the air! Shorter days and cooler temperatures. Nowhere is the colour more dramatic than that which occurs in the tress and other plants as they prepare for their winter dormancy. Learn what leaves do and why they change colour and Fall. Learn which conifer loses its needles in winter, make a collection, get closer with magnifiers and create some leaf art.
