Dutch Courage is the duo formed by brothers Ian and Colin Steeksma, who survived touring Canada in a local BC Band from 1972 to 1979, opening for acts such as Blondie, Wednesday, Trooper and Long John Baldry, and continued together in the 1980’s with several recording projects, including one produced by Randy Bachman of Guess Who and BTO fame. After a hiatus of 30 years, the brothers have both settled coincidentally in the 100 Mile House area, and have reunited musically, intending to play very recognizable classic rock and country songs for folks at venues in the Cariboo.
7 – 8 PM – BLACKBERRY WOOD
Blackberry Wood is a band that can go from playing the biggest festivals in the to hanging out in your back yard and always whisks you away to a wild and colorful foot stompin’ old style country-gypsy barn dance! Imagine something sorta like a private party in the back of a traveling carnival. They have a solid reputation for their high energy unbelievably exciting dance floor shakin’ shows! Amazing story telling and mesmerizing ballads.
