The Peter Skene Ogden boys’ won the bronze medal placing third in the 12-team Hope Secondary tournament last weekend. The Eagles lost to eventual champions Abby Christian 5-4 on penalty kicks despite Robert Waldner scoring to give PSO a 1-0 lead until late in the contest. Max Holzapfl and Devon Higginbottom were named tournament all stars. Next up for PSO is the Merritt Invitational in two weeks.

Their confidence in the past was a bit of an issue but now that they’ve got a taste of playing in meaningful games their mindset now is they expect to make the finals and not just show up.
