55+ BC Games ‘Try It’ Event

The 55+ BC Games is an annual multi-sport competition that attracts over 3,500 participants from across BC. The Quesnel Arts and Recreation Centre in partnership with British Columbia Recreation and Parks (BCRPA), the BC Seniors Games Society and Province of British Columbia and the Government of Canada is offering a ‘Try It’ event. Come on down and join in for Pickleball,

Postmodern Prohibition! ALS Fundraiser

Join Vile Pole Arts, Angels Aerial Fitness and the Occidental for a not so

sober good time as we explore the prohibition era with a modern twist.

Bring a wallet full of moola, as this event is also a fundraiser for the Walk

to End ALS! This is a 19+ event.

Tickets can be purchased at the studio of the Occidental, and select dancers will also be selling tickets. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.

an individual to help support end-of-life care in your community. The 2.5 km loop is accessible for all ages and abilities. There is no registration fee for

Quesnel’s 5th Annual Pride Parade

Quesnel City Hall  1:00 pm

Join in on celebrating Quesnel’s 5th Annual LGBTQ2S+ Pride Parade,

hosted by Quesnel Pride & Community Outreach! The Parade starts at City Hall and ends in Lebourdais Park where this will be entertainment and

vendors set up until 4:00 pm. There will be a Youth gathering at the Youth Centre from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm, and then a 19+ Afterparty at the Occidental starting at 7:00 pm. Tickets for the Afterparty are sold at the Occidental

from June 1st – June 15th, and are $10 each.
