On March 2nd, 2019, at 6:18 p.m., the Williams Lake RCMP responded to a
shooting in the 1100 block of 3rd Avenue North, Williams Lake. The investigation resulted in a known female being arrested and a female victim being transported to the Cariboo Memorial Hospital.
The suspect currently remains in custody with charges of attempted murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of an offence being recommended to Crown Counsel. The victim remains in stable condition and no further details will be released at this time.
