Overlander pub Open Mic night takes place from 8 pm to midnight every Friday night

Scout Island Annual Banquet at 6:00pm -9:00pm at St Andrews United Church Scout Island will be having their annual banquet with ticket available at the Open Book for $40.

Saturday April 6th

Preschool Wheels at 10:00am – 12:00pm. Bring your preschoolers bikes, trikes, scooters, and ride om toys down to the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex for the morning of fun. Parents must supervise their children at all times. Please remember to bring your helmets and safety equipment. Cost a $2 registration fee. This runs on Tuesdays also.

Monday April 8th

Cariboo Festival – Vocal/Choral at 9:00am – 1:00pm. Choir Evening at 7 pm on April 9th

My Life Online at 6:00pm – 7:00pm. This is a parent’s night for SD27 students and will help you teach your children how to be safe, smart and kind online.

Tuesday April 9th

Williams Lake Wanderers meet at 9:15am. If you are interested in joining then please meet at the Cariboo Memorial Complex. They do a variety of different things through out the year, from Kayaking, Hiking, Walking, Snowshoeing, Biking, Skiing. Please call to find what they will be doing today.

Community Engagement Session at 5:30pm – 9:30pm. The B.C. Government is hosting engagement sessions to review two draft caribou recovery agreements. These engagement sessions will provide an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback on the draft Section 11 Agreement (between the Governments of Canada and B.C.) and the draft the Partnership Agreement (between the Governments of Canada, B.C., West Moberly & Saulteau First Nations). These sessions are open to the public and no RSVP is required.

Wednesday April 10th

On Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays the Williams Lake Walking group will be headed out at 9am Please call ahead to find out which trail they will be taking today at 250-392-2271

Ball Hockey at 3:45pm to 4:45pm. This was started to create a relationship with the RCMP and youth. They have seen people who’d never even skated before come out and play so that it’s been a really open environment for everyone.

Cariboo Arts Festival speech arts at 9am at the Evangelical Free Church.

29th Annual Williams Lake Indoor Rodeo April 26th – April 28th 2019 Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex

Three days of rodeo action with 225+ competitors, top of the line stock, free cowboy carnival for kids 10 and under on Friday, food and merchandise vendors, beer garden, live bands with the Kordaroy Band on Friday and One in the Chamber on Saturday night.
