Friday February 22nd – Dash Splash and Crash at 12:30pm to 5:15pm. Join us for skating, swimming and movie when school is out. just pack your swim suit towel and skates, helmet and we will provide the snack.
School’s Out Swims at 1:00pm -3:45pm. Join us for themed swims with organized games or kick back and float in the new pool.
Ladies Night Open House at 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Local Home-Based and small businesses will be showcasing their products at Chilcotin Road Elementary School’s annual Ladies night open house. Free to the public, the event will run from 6 to 9 pm at the school. Proceeds from the event go to the Chilcotin Road PAC, which helps to support school field trips resources for classroom and so much more.
Saturday February 23rd –GOLD RUSH TRAIL RIDE……..Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019 ……Everyone welcomed to join us. We will meet at Horsefly’s Anvil Pub at 8:30 am and get started on ride by 9:00 am. Horsefly, BC is approx. 50 minutes from Williams Lake. We will ride to Redeau Hut for campfire and hot dogs and return to Horsefly. 2nd Annual Crooked Lake Resort Ice Fishing Derby from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
National Cupcake Day at 10:00am to 4:00pm. The Junior Cadets of BC are volunteering their time to help out the SPCA in a fundraiser for the animals
Tumble and Play 10:00am to 11:30am. This is an active parent and tot playtime where you and your toddler can bounce, catch, slide, and race. A variety of sports equipment, ride on, and tumbling mats will be available.
Wells Gourmet Ski from 10:00am to 3:00pm. This event takes place in Wells and starts at the Bear’s Paw Cafe and ends at the Jack O Clubs General Store. After the ski you have the opportunity to book a dinner at the Bear’s Paw Cafe before heading to the historic Sunset theatre for the Annual Mountain Film Festival. This event includes Skiing across the meadows and Cornish Mountain trail network in Wells, while visiting food stations serving international Cuisine. This is a family friendly event.
Winter Series BCBRA starts at 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Eagle View Equestrian Centre they will be holding barrel racing.
Celebrate Life Fundraising Dinner at 6:00pm Choice for life society is holding its Celebrate life fundraising dinner. Doors open up at 6 pm and dinner is at 6:30 with guest speaker Lia Mills with Auction, Door Prizes and Musical entertainment.
Lyle Bats & The Alchemist Concert from 7:30pm to 11:00pm at the Cariboo Arts Centre.
Williams Lake Stampede Dinner and Dance and Auction is at the Elks Hall with doors open at 5 pm and dinner at 6 The entertainment will be One in Chamber Tickets are $40 each or $300 for a table of eight and are available at Margetts Meats or RE/Max.
Sunday February 24th –Lyle Bats in concert at 7:30pm to 10:30pm. The Bells Lake Retreat and Wellness Centre is featuring Lyle Bats in horsefly.
Bridal and Grad Fair from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at the Ramada convention centre they will be holding the Bridal and Grad fair tickets are just $15 in advance at Kimberly’s. There will be door prizes.
Tuesday February 26th –What Works at 9:00am to 4:00pm in the Pioneer Complex. A Business Development Opportunity to network with other employers and find out what’s working, tackle your employment challenges and generate community solutions to Williams Lake’s about shortages. This is a free workshop.
The Williams Lake Wanderers meet every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the Cariboo Memorial Complex parking lot at 9:15 am. Today the adventure is located at White Road to Lexington snowshoe/walk
Wednesday February 27th –Williams Lake Wanderer, the Snap trail for a snowshoe /walk is the location of today’s adventure, if you are interested in joining then please meet at the Cariboo Memorial Complex.
Thursday February 28th –Treat Week Pop up Shop at 11:00am to 2:00pm. Come on down to the Community policing building across from Mr. Mike’s on 3rd Ave and buy and treat to support your local SPCA.
