Saturday May 4th

St Peter’s is holding their annual plant sale from 9 am to 2 pm at St Peter’s Anglican Church

 

Seedy Saturday at 10:00am to 12:00pm. Celebrate the 1st Farmer’s Market of the season in this exciting collaborative event! Local seeds, seedlings, & garden decor. Seed/Plant Swap table. Learn about growing your own food. The Williams Lake Food Policy Council is encouraging everyone to stop by, gather some seeds, purchase local foodstuff and outfit their garden for spring. Live music will be on hand at the event and will have vendors selling climate-appropriate

 

Spinners & Weavers Annual Spin In10:00am -4:00pm. The annual Spin In is taking place with   various vendors of fiber art supplies at Mackinnon Hall on Huckvale Road.

 

At 150 Mile House Fire Hall they will be holding a Craft and Collectibles sale, so come on out and explore. This free event takes place from 10 to 3 pm

 

Horsin’ Around in the Cariboo starts at on Saturday and Sunday 1:00pm at the Eagleview equestrian centre. This event features barrel racing, cattle Sorting, hoof n woof, and mountain trail.

Celtic Routes starts at 7:00pm on Saturday and at 3:00pm on Sunday. The Cariboo Chilcotin Youth Fiddle Society presents Celtic Routes at the Gibraltar Room. Tickets are available at the Open Book.

 

Sunday May 5th

HUB International Bike Rodeo in the Canadian Tire Parking Lot from 11:00am – 1:30pm. This is a Free Event for children ages 2 – 10 years to learn about bike safety. Call the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex at 250-398-7665 to register your child in this free event. If there is poor weather it will be moved indoors at the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex rink 1.

 

Horsefly fun run registration at the horsefly rink between 9 and 10 am the bus will transport to the start line at Moffit falls.

 

Canadian tire is holding a Ladies Night with specials, prizes and giveaways, draws from 6pm to 9 pm.

 

Monday May 6th

Williams Lake Walking Group meet at 9:00am at the trailhead. Please call ahead to find out where they will be walking Chris 250-392-2271.

 

Tuesday May 7th Williams Lake Wanderers meet at 9:15am. If you are interested in joining then please meet at the Cariboo Memorial Complex. They do a variety of different things through out the year, from Kayaking, Hiking, Walking, Snowshoeing, Biking, Skiing. Please call to find what they will be doing today.
