Police seeking public assistance in late night shooting.
The Williams Lake RCMP responded to a report of a male who had sustained a gun shot wound late on February 10, 2019.
The male victim sustained non-life threatening injuries.
“The incident occurred at the brake check on Hwy 97 just north of Williams Lake,” says RCMP Constable Joel Kooger. “The police are asking the public who may have witnessed anything suspicious in that area between the hours of 8:00PM to 11:00PM to please contact police.”
The investigation remains in the early stages and there is no further information to release at this time.
