On April 23rd 2019 at 0833 AM, 100 Mile House RCMP and Cariboo Central Traffic Services attended to a reported firearm complaint along Scott Road in 100 Mile House BC. Initial reports indicated a male and female were arguing over a gun and they were seen going over to a neighbor’s residence. RCMP arrived on scene and arrested a male and female associated to the event. A firearm was seized. 100 Mile House RCMP-GRC are currently holding a residence along Scott Road for a search warrant.
There were no injuries reported to any party or witness involved with the complaint. Both persons remain in police custody. 100 Mile House RCMP-GRC believe there is no further risk to public safety. 100 Mile House RCMP-GRC ask that you avoid that area unless you have local business to attend too for the next few hours.
