Williams Lake Events for September 7th to September 13th
Friday September 7th
Williams Lake Farmers Market is taking place at the Cariboo Memorial Complex from 9 am to 2 pm. The Farmers Market feature a variety of product and Produce with a food truck on site.
Art walk is taking place until September 8, which is the last day and runs from 9 am to 5 pm.
Barkerville Cowboy & Drover Jubilee and starts on Friday, Sep 7 to 9th from 10:00 to 1:00pm. Celebrate BC’s rich cowboy heritage, gold rush style! Northern Star singing competition, theatre royal, kick off party and much more!
Saturday September 8th
25th Annual Tour De Cariboo from 8:00am until you finish the race. This is the final year of the tour de cariboo so if you would like to participate in it this is your final chance. The door open at 8 am and the ride starts at 9 am. Everyone is going to ride to Gavin Lake.
Bella Coola Valley Fall Fair
Saturday, Sep 8 9:00am – Sunday, Sep 9 6:00pm The Bella Coola Valley Fall Fair is a down-home event reminiscent of old country fairs with games for the wee ones. There is a train ride for children, along with games for the young at heart. Activities include horseshoes, ring toss and bingo, along with logger sports, axe throwing.
41st Annual Harvest Fair takes place from 10:00am – 4:00pm on both Saturday and Sunday. There will be live entertainment such as a clown, a caricaturist ventriloquist and a juggler! Join them for the pet parade or enter your own pet (15-year kids and under). Judging on flowers, vegetables, painting, sewing, homemade wine and beer and much much more! This year the fair is absolutely free!!
Family Film Matinee 2:00pm – 4:00pm. Features the School of Rock in the Cariboo Library at 2 pm. Thunder Mountain Speedway Finales starts at 1 pm and runs until 5 pm. This the last day of racing and features a day full of racing – Special Event Day of Destruction. Kids 12 and under free. Gates open at 10 am
Forge Dinner and Dance 4:30pm – 12:00am. At the Legion they will be holding a dinner and dance with stand-up comedy. 19+ event.
Ghost Hunt will be taking place at the 108-heritage site from 8 pm to 11 pm.
Sunday September 9th
McLeese Lake is holding a Farmers Market and this goes from 9 am to 1 pm.
Scavenger Hunt on Horseback 9:00am -12:30pm. South Cariboo Equestrian Association will be holding a Scavenger Hunt on Horseback.
